DDC 4

The DDC 4 NSC Driver Training is comprised of course components carefully aligned to promote the best possible instruction and provide a good mix of technologies and interactions that result in a comprehensive and constructive learning experience.

In a creative blended approach to training, NSC combines traditional training methods with technology to achieve learning and safety objectives. The interactive Design integrates classroom-based activities presented in reader-friendly and graphically rich materials (Instructor Guide and Course Guide) with an on-screen “Guide,” video, frontline perspectives and hazard based scenarios presented in an innovative multimedia product that is displayable/fully functional on “a DVD/TV with remote control system OR computer with projection unit.

Instructional Goals of DDC 4

The instructional goals of DDC 4 are to:

  • Influence and challenge participants to change their behind-the-wheel behaviors and attitudes so they will choose to drive safely, responsibly and lawfully
  • Provide participants with {new, correct, or reinforced} basic knowledge, skills and techniques to avoid collisions and decrease future violations
